silenthaven: “We made 4 versions of the [Pyramid Head] helmet for the movie. The original helmet for the first movie, made at Patrick Tatopoulos’s shop, was fiberglass and quite light. For the sequel we remolded that helmet and made another, even lighter one in fiberglass for the hero shots. For certain scenes a rubber helmet was used for safety.
